I am writing with some observations with regard to the West Cheltenham Local Green Space (LGS) designation in the emerging Cheltenham Plan. In our opinion there is a patent lack of evidence to support the entirety of the suggested LGS but our primary aim here is to remove our client's land from the allocation and ideally the land surrounding it as part of the 'southern leg'. Please refer to the plan at Appendix A which identifies our client's land. Appendix B identifies our client's land (in re

Several of the allocations identifed at Policy H1 and attendant site specific policies fail the soundness test of being justified resulting in over optimistic dwelling number. Please see attached for further details.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to comment on the proposed Cheltenham Town Plan. I must your "Cheltenham Plan Pre-Submission Document" which I obtained from the local library may be suitable for a solicitor, but it is totally unsuitable for the likes of me- I wouldn't know where to start with it!

The deliberately complex and obscured by legalese approach to this consultation is very negative and appears to be purely to push this through without people understanding it. very sad reflection on all Councillors and Local Government.

I do not consider the plan to legal or sound. It is not in plain English, contains errors, omits air quality monitoring, the Cheltenham traffic plan, to avoid consultation & does not include the A40 corridor as Green Space. Local consultation and community plan is required for The Reddings & West/South West & West Cheltenham.

The Local Plan in its current form is neither sound nor legal. Sloppy errors need to be rectified in Plan!
