I support the view of point 11.4 that it is logical to make use of previously developed and underused sites. I am therefore pleased to see that Reeves Field, a greenfield site in constant use as a sporting facility has now been removed from the draft as a housing allocation for the period of the Plan. The POLICY HD2: FORMER MONKSCROFT PRIMARY SCHOOL has been recomended as a new residential site despite overwhelming disapproval from local neighbours as evidenced by the results of the local green space survey conducted by Hesters Way Partnership in 2015.
